Refund & Cancellation Policy
v1.1 · Effective 28 September 2026
4.1 What this covers
This policy covers only SchemeBook's subscription fees paid by a Merchant to Tangudu Systems Private Limited. It does not cover payments a Customer makes to a Merchant under a Scheme — SchemeBook never receives that money. Refunds, early-exit settlements and maturity payouts under a Scheme are governed by the Scheme rules the Customer accepted and are the Merchant's responsibility.
4.2 Free period
The first 3 months are free. No card is charged during this period, so no refund arises.
4.3 Cancellation
A Merchant may cancel at any time from Settings or by email to hello@schemebook.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing cycle; access continues until then. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee. The card e-mandate is cancelled on termination.
4.4 Refunds
- Current month: fees already charged for a monthly cycle are not refunded on cancellation; the Merchant keeps access for the rest of that cycle.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges (e.g. a charge made without a confirmed price, or in excess of it) are refunded in full to the original card within 7 working days of being reported.
- Service failure: if the Platform is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing month due to our fault, the Merchant may request a pro-rata credit for the downtime against the next charge.
- Suspension for non-payment or breach does not entitle the Merchant to a refund.
4.5 How to request
Email hello@schemebook.app from the billing email with the invoice number and reason. We acknowledge within 2 working days.
